John Petruzzi
GROUND SUPPORT MANAGER
John F. Petruzzi, a native of West Mifflin, Pennsylvania, is Line Service Manager at Voyager Jet Center. John started his first job in aviation as a Line Service Technician with Tac Air Service at Allegheny County Airport.
He then enrolled at Triangle School of Drafting, where he earned his Associates Degree in Drafting. In 1971, he shifted his work to The Greater Pittsburgh Airport for one year at Allied Aviation. There, John began his fueling requirements training on various types of aircraft.
In 1972, John then left aviation to work at Mesta Machines, as a machine operator. He remained there for seven years. John returned to aviation in 1979, taking a position at Special Jet Services, which later became Corporate Jets. John was promoted to Line Service Manager, where his responsibilities grew with the management of more than forty employees. With more than thirty years in the industry, John joined the Voyager team in 1999, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge and experience.
Throughout the years, he has cleaned and fueled a vast variety of aircraft, ranging from Piper Cubs to Boeing 747s. His long history in aviation and knowledge of aircraft go well beyond Line Service, with a well developed sense for hangar safety and maintenance.
John and his wife Nancy reside in West Mifflin, Pennsylvania. In his leisure time, John enjoys hunting, fishing, boating and watching football.
