Vincent Lorusso

Captain Vincent Lorusso has been a professional pilot for 17 years, and he is a valued employee at Voyager Jet Center. He graduated from Embry Riddle University with a Bachelor in Aeronautical Science. Captain Lorusso presently flies both the Beechjet and Hawker with Voyager Jet Center. He holds an FAA Airline Transport Pilot Certificate and a First Class Medical.
Vincent's aviation experience started as a Flight Instructor. Soon after, he took a job as a Banner Tow Pilot. It required courage along with excellent stick and rudder skills. His career shifted into high gear when he accepted a Part 135 job flying for Ram Air Freight. He soon advanced to an instructor pilot, providing training for the new hires at Ram Air. In 1998, Vincent took a job with Epps Aviation flying the infamous Mitsubishi MU-2. He enjoyed working for Mr. Epps whose family has been in the aviation business since 1910 with the creation of an airplane called the Epps Flyer. Captain Lorusso then spent nearly four years with FlightOptions flying the Beechjet and Hawker aircraft.
Born in 1971 in Ellwood City, Pennsylvania, Vince took his first flying lesson at the age of 14. In 1990 and at the age of 19, Vincent acquired his Commercial Pilots License. With more than 7000 accident and incident free flying hours, Captain Lorusso is type rated in the Beechjet, Diamond Jet, Hawker Jet and the CL-604.
In Vincent's spare time, you will most likely find him working on one of his motorcycles. Not only does he like to rebuild damaged motorcycles, he is also passionate about racing motorcycles and has been doing so since the age of 7. Vincent is a graduate of the Fasttrax Road Racing School, as well as a member of the Fasttrax Racing Club. He also belongs to the WERA racing association, CCS racing, and the AMA. When he's not racing motorcycles, Vincent enjoys flying radio controlled airplanes.
