Brendan McCormack
Pilot
Captain Brendan McCormack has lived in Pittsburgh since the summer of 1990 when he and his family arrived here from Melbourne, Australia where he had grown up. He is the only member of his family who resides outside the shores of Australia. Brendan has a son, Ryan, and a daughter, Leah.
A lifelong ambition of his, Brendan immediately began the task of achieving his pilot ratings along with a degree in Flight Technology from the Community College of Allegheny County. He has over 6000 hours of accident and incident free flight experience. Brendan holds type ratings in the Hawker series and Beechjet aircraft, a first class medical and an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate.
Brendan has gained much insight into what is required of a dedicated and safety conscious pilot. He has logged several thousand hours flying air ambulance flights all over the United States while working for Aeronational out of Washington County Airport, south of Pittsburgh.
Brendan became a member of the Voyager Jet Center team in May of 2005. He always stands ready to assist in any way he can to give passengers a safe and most enjoyable flight experience. Brendan is type rated in both the Hawker and the Beechjet.
In his spare time, Brendan enjoys tennis, skiing, swimming, boating and biking on the many trails in Pittsburgh.
